The LPT (LanParte) Double C-Bracket Cage Set is machined from lightweight aluminium alloy using CNC techniques and hard anodised in black to provide a finish which is highly durable and very resistant to scratching (far superior durability when compared to other manufacturers cheaper powder coated accessories.)
The LPT (LanParte) C shape support frame fits onto any industry standard 15mm rail system. It allows your rig to be held from the top, when used in conjunction with the top handle (optional accessory).
If you are using a Lanparte VMS-01 shoulder pad and base plate unit you can use the included mounting adaptors to attach this arm directly onto the side of the VMS-01 saving a huge amount of space on the rig and keeping the handle directly above the camera for a well balanced configuration.
As well as the special method of mounting, the CA-02 model is larger than the standard CA-01 C arm making it ideal for larger cameras (C300, FS700, HDV Cameras)
Clamping collars allow the weight balance to be quickly shifted without completely re-configuring the rig. This enables you to point the camera downwards, upwards or horizontally in a matter of seconds.
There is also a horizontal weight balance adjustment screw at the top of the arm, so you can ensure your camera is perfectly level even if the weight is unevenely balanced.
Built into the support is a secure hotshoe mount, as well as a 3/8” and 1/4” thread-in for easy mounting of accessories (i.e. external recorder, monitor, magic arms)
